Ambetter Claim Submissions Notice

Dear Ambetter Provider,

Thank you for your continued partnership with Ambetter from Sunflower Health Plan. We always work to provide the highest levels of service to all of our provider partners.

We understand that you may have recently been impacted by an increased volume of rejected claims.  In order to ensure that your claims are paid timely and accurately for the care that you provide to our members, we have enclosed a few reminders regarding Ambetter claim submissions.

Please take a moment to review the enclosed flyer which outlines details regarding:

  • Taxonomy placement on claims, and
  • Billing with the correct Member ID number

If you have experienced claim rejections for these reasons, please review the guidelines on the following page, make any necessary edits, and resubmit your impacted claims.  Please note that resubmission is not a guarantee of payment, and other applicable rejection edits may still apply.
